Spent a lot of money in here over past few years, played snooker a lot as a member here however came in with a friend who wasn’t a member despite the so called rules being you can be accompanied by a member and play they wouldn’t let us play snooker. Never seen anyone else play snooker I usually go up and practise on my own for some peace and quiet it was two young girls on the bar who were rude about the situation, never had any issues with the rest of the staff they’re always sound.

No way to treat your top spenders/ regulars, won’t be returning.

It's the first time I have been here. It was for my nieces engagement party, first impressions of the room, it was very big like a big square, there was chairs and tables round the sides which left a huge dance floor in the middle. For accompanying guests, I would say that there wasn't enough tables and chairs to sit at, but we managed to squeeze in with some of the family members tables.I must admit that the bar was away from the dance floor which makes it easier to get drinks and your not getting in the way, the food was very nice and the disco played various songs,plus the room is separate from the rest of the club so you don't get strangers walking into the party . All in all it was a very good night.

Great venue in an up-market village near York. Plenty of parking. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Not bad range of drinks. We used the conference hall at the back with it's own bar. Clean and well lit and seating over 100 comfortably and in comfort. Nice place and highly recommended.

What a great venue. The club itself is for members but it's easy to become one. Just a small membership fee. It's spacious and has plenty of seating space to cater for everyone. There's a TV section if you want to watch sport but it's easy enough to get a seat and table and still socialise without watching the sport.. There is a snooker table upstairs also. In tbe main room in the back there is a hive amount of space for large private parties and other functions. There's a stage and separate bar as well. Great toilet facilities are a big plus as well. All in all this is a great place to relax and the staff are excellent.
Please don't change.

A great social club. Drinks are reasonably priced and staff are polite. Live sport is shown on large screen TVs in the lounge, and a smaller one over the bar. Has last year been redecorated last year to a very good standard.

Went for a Christmas do. And was pleasantly surprised with the backroom. The stage was big enough for the 7 piece band. The staff were very good and attentive. Bar prices were OK, Not social club level but in line with other local places
