Doing therapy with Ben over the past 5 months has been a life changing experience for me. His sessions were engaging and practical; his calm and patient approach made it such an pleasant and thought provoking process, it really changed how I view myself as an individual and will aid me in being a more well rounded person far into the future. What I particularly liked was the passion and attention to detail Ben shows in his sessions and his work in general. I highly recommend Ben to anyone seeking therapy!

I had counselling sessions with Ben for a year. I was experiencing anxiety and very low self-esteem. We did a lot of work on personal qualities and self compassion. Ben helped me to better understand my feelings and recognise how hard I was being on myself. He also helped me to reframe my negative thoughts so that I now see myself and my experiences in a much fairer and balanced way. My relationships, particularly with my immediate family have improved as a result of this. I would not hesitate to recommend Ben.

So I have been having sessions with Ben for a year now.
Without delving into the chasm of my life and the reasons why; I have always been dubious of counselling or 'talk therapy'. I had reservations to begin with.
I am an autistic fisherman with ADHD, and after a series of health problems had to reintigrate with society - after 7 years at sea I found it incredibly difficult to reconfigure my brain to life at home. I have a 4 year old daughter and a partner who I have been with for 8 years. They too were struggling to deal with my mental health.
Ben was an absolute lifeline to me, and my family. His observation and guidance is always astute, and through our sessions I have gained an understanding of myself that has enabled me to tackle life with a confidence and reasoning I'd never had available before; and keep my family together.
I could not reccomend him enough.

Ben helped me to see clearly & give perspective to my life. Through talking every couple of weeks, he accompanied me on my journey from depression & anxiety to one of self care & compassion.
