My father passed away peacefully in 0ct23, just short of his 94th birthday, and had been a resident of Beaufort House Care Home for approximately 13 months. He had had Alzheimer’s for a few year prior to moving to the home.
From the beginning it was clear the home was welcoming, helpful, caring and communicative (to us, his family). My father settled in quickly and the management and staff took time throughout his stay to make sure he was well looked after and happy. This included various activities that were organised for the residents on a regular basis.
During his stay, staff would always ring us when there was a need, and the doctor’s surgery who attend the home would do likewise.
We visited at least once a week and this was helpful to my father, the staff and us, his family.
On his passing the home were compassionate and helpful.
In summary, considering the stage of my father’s life, Beaufort House was the ideal location and would recommend it to others who are considering care home provision.

When we had to put my nanna in a home we were so worried because of all of the stories you hear about them being left and not cared for. But gosh we were wrong. We are incredibly lucky to have the carers we have. My nanna has full care 24/7. Anything she needs she gets. They are the most kind, caring and loving people I have ever met. We can never thank them enough for everything they do for us. They are so supportive and keep you updated with everything that is going on with my nanna. Thank you so so much to the manager Diadem Dix and everyone that work here. They give excellent care for not just for my nanna but for all residents aswell. We can’t thank you enough! x
