I joined Be Strong 4 years ago to try to lose weight. Rick and Rachel have created a healthy lifestyle group which is totally different to other weight loss groups I have attended. I lost 5& a half stone in 11 months, started to exercise and even started running! With the support and encouragement of Rick Rachel and all of the Be Strong family I have improved my physical and mental health and would recommend this group to anyone who wants help to lose weight and get fitter. They will go above and beyond to help members, I have seen this time and time again. Best thing I ever did walking in the door !

You'd never get me across the threshold of any of the mainstream weight loss programmes out there - you're not getting me into that girly meeting!!! BUT after seeing the difference only a few weeks of being part of the BE STRONG family made to my brother-in-law and my niece I decided to see what was different. I went in with scepticism, not expecting anything much but after listening to Rick and Rach talking about who inspires them and having to make sacrifices to reach your goals, I thought I could do the same. That was the 1st Monday in April this year, I weighed in at 16 Stone. I've since lost just over 3 and a half stone and I've just ran the Blackburn Couch to 5K Celebration Run in under 30 minutes. All I can say is, turn up, give it a go, be positive - YOU CAN DO IT. The BE STRONG team aren't out there to sell you any magic potion or peddle a get slim quick scheme. What they want to see in each and every one of us is to truly achieve a life long transformation in how we approach the whole subject of food and being active - they give us the tools we need to be able to reach these goals, kick our butts when we need it and get each and everyone of us across that finishing line whatever that looks like for you!

After joining Be Strong almost three years ago it is still the best choice I made. I am a digital member who has made very real friends and it continues to support me in many different ways. Be Strong doesn’t tell you what is right for you to transform your life, it gives you the tools to find out and achieve this for yourself, which is why it is definitely lifelong.

Be Strong was started by two inspiring people, Rick and Rachel, who encourage by example because they have been were I am.
I’m an online member, as I live far away and can’t get to the meetings but I still feel included in everything that goes on. I join in the challenges and know if I need any support that I can’t find online I can always contact them and they are very prompt getting back to me. I love the way Be Strong keeps challenging me to think about what I eat and move and also be accountable for my choices.

Update a year after joining, I’m now in my healthy weight band and after completing their virtual C25k I am now regularly running for 30 minutes 3 times a week and taking part in 2 higher intensity activities a week at my own level.
I feel in control of my relationship with food and see it fuelling my body instead of as a treat for getting throughout the day.
The biggest win for me is that I now see myself as someone who can take on a challenge and complete it.
I love being able to inspire and support other members along their journey, still the best choice I made 😊💕🐝💪🏾

Be Strong has completely changed my life, I have lost over 3 stones, gained confidence and met some fantastic people along my journey. Be Strong provides fantastic advice and support to all members, with Rick and Rachel going to extraordinary lengths to help as many people as they can. By being a member I have learnt how to lose weight and maintaining my weight loss through recipe and meal ideas that still allow me to eat the food that I love. I started with Be Strong July last year and from day one I was made to feel so welcome and part of the group. Rick and Rachel are extremely knowledgeable and helpful but not only that they to have been in my position so know exactly how hard it can be to lose weight. Fast forward to today and I have lost over 2 1/2 stone, exercise has become part of my daily life as well as being very accountable of what I eat. I have gained many friends and I am the most confident and happy I have been in a very, very long time! Be Strong isn't just another diet group, it's a lifestyle change group. The support from Rick & Rachel is fantastic along with the Be Strong community it's like one big family. There's monthly group walks & challenges, HIIT classes, wellness walks available along with lots of informative articles & recipes. Give them a try, you won't regret it, I certainly don't!

This group isn't like any other weight-loss group out there! It includes so many plans to choose from that are catered to suit your lifestyle to make your weight loss journey sustainable and realistic.
Rick and Rachel are dedicated to supporting members and go above and beyond ... with advice and encouragement, they have been there and know how it feels, no one is judged and everyone is included whether you are an online member or attend classes. Members support each other and lots of lovely friendships are made - it's like gaining a new family!
Exercise sessions are included and catered for all levels of fitness.. and can be accessed from home too!

Amazing group of people led by Rick and Rachel I initially lost my weight elsewhere but decided to join Be Strong as my maintenance programme! I’m involved in both the running and walking groups and love the HIIT classes held weekly, motivating challenges are set regularly along with lots of information to keep
