I visited the back doctor last week due to a chronic issue with my thoracic spine. Also had issues with my shoulder and lower back.

I saw Anthony who did a whole body assessment and discovered I have four conditions that explain all the symptoms I've had for years.

Furthermore, Anthony treated what he found and I walked away in much better shape. A little post-treatment pain that eased over a few days was the worst of it and I've managed to sleep much more comfortably since.!

I’ve had superb experiences at this clinic with both Chiropractors. I have pelvis issues and back tightness and have seen many Chiros in my old town.

Stephen is focussed on (and good at) joint adjustments and the spine. He’s very courteous, explains well and makes you feel at ease. He has a lovely dog called Zelda who sits quietly in the corner whilst you’re undergoing treatment. She’s like a therapy dog!

Anthony is a little more holistic and doesn’t just focus on the ‘classic’ adjustments. He recommended a wobble cushion for my pelvis issues and along with the adjustments, that’s helped a lot! He also looked as muscle groups and did some releasing there.

Charlie is the physio and he’s superb. He’s been doing it a long time and he has a range of techniques alongside good massage techniques and even using ultrasound, to get rid of those aches and pains.

The receptionists are friendly and organised as you’d expect! It’s a smooth experience, visiting.

Do not go to this office. I went in with a small pain in my back and came out with a herniated disc that needed emergency spinal surgery in Walton Neuro hospital. I am permanently injured. I have bladder control and bowel problems because of the nerve damage.

I've been going to Anthony for several years. When he moved to the Back Doctor from his other practice, I had to follow. The level of care you receive from all the staff is highly professional and very friendly. I don't find the prices to be too bad considering the quality of the practice. The ability to walk again without using a walking stick after suffering a fibromyalgia diagnosis is worth it's weight in gold. Anthony is a wonderful human being and goes above and beyond to holistically treat his patients with real care and attention. All the receptionists are so friendly and helpful. You really feel like a valued customer and you're treated like a human being. I can't recommend the Back Doctor enough!!

I could not have asked for a better experience. These are lovely, knowledgeable and inspiring people. The first session Steve did some incredibly gentle manipulations as I was already in a lot of pain and struggling to walk. I barely noticed him doing them but a couple of days later the improvement was incredible.
Not only did I have huge improvement with my mobility and pain but Steve took the time to explain the anatomy of the discs and my injury so that I felt less overwhelmed and better understood how to take care of it. He even sent me some exercises to help maintain mobility and strength.

I only wish that the clinic was in London so I could keep going for treatments here. Thank you so much for all your help.

I have been seeing Steve for my neck & back problems for several years, & can honestly say it has made a huge difference. From suffering frequent headaches & migraines, to a point of taking painkillers daily, I now hardly get them at all. As well as being a great chiropractor, Steve is a genuinely kind & lovely guy. He puts you at ease & works with you to find the most comfortable & effective treatments. He & his receptionists are always friendly & welcoming. They care about, & take an interest in their patients. I would thoroughly recommend this practice.

I came to the back doctor for sciatic pain and Steve instantly made me feel comfortable, he made a huge difference to the pain I was experiencing and in less than 3 weeks I was back to work. I now visit every month to keep my back in check and its extremely reassuring to know that he is there should I have any problems. The service is incredibly friendly and person centred and you always get a lovely warm welcome from Lisa and Glennis when you arrive.
