I decided to visit Derek after experiencing a low period in my life, where I was struggling with my confidence. I began training in Academy football at a young age and after not being offered a scholarship at under 16s there was a lot to deal with. I picked myself up, completed my GCSEs and moved on with a new opportunity in the football world. I hadn’t realised that I was still affected by my experiences and felt I needed some help and some techniques to deal with this. My experience with Derek was really good, Derek helped me to overcome my anxiety and fears. Working in Nhs I have always seen patients coming to hospital with anxiety and depression etc but never realised the extent of it till it hit me. Derek was great during my journey to become a better person through these mind coaching sessions, he made me realise the power of our mind.
