Having had two cortisone injections on my knee for osteoarthritis, both of which didn't relieve the pain, I started to look at other treatments as felt I was too young to consider a replacement just yet 🙁

I found Ann and after reading all the 5 star reviews made contact and managed to get booked in for a course of treatment.

I wouldn't say I was skeptical, but having not had acupuncture before I was a little nervous. Ann made me feel very relaxed and talked me through everything she was doing and what to expect. She especially managed my expectations, saying I wouldn't feel any improvement until around session 4.

The improvements were gradual and with my final session just before Xmas 2024, it was during January 2025 that I suddenly realised there was next to no pain in my knee!! The difference this has made to my life is enormous. I was limited with the activities I was able to do and my quality of sleep was horrendous due to constant pain and painkillers.

I feel very lucky to have found Ann and for the treatment she has given me. I am continuing with treatment once per month for the next 6 months and finally back walking my dogs.

I have just finished my course of acupuncture with Ann and I can honestly say that she has worked miracles. I am now pain free after years of suffering with painful fibromyalgia and peripheral neuropathy that developed shortly after having treatment for breast cancer. I was taking a cocktail of drugs from my GP and was under the pain clinic at Broadgreen Hospital. As I am going through the perimenopause I was also experiencing night sweats and insomnia, sometimes only getting 2-3 hours sleep every night. All these symptoms were reduced by 90% with the acupuncture. I am now getting a minimum of 6 hours sleep even though I was seeking help with my chronic pain.
Ann has been my saviour, she is one of the nicest people you can ever meet. She is caring, listens attentively to your issues and is just so genuine and goes above and beyond her role as an acupuncturist. Ann is amazing! I had been suffering with debilitating headaches for several months. Hospital test & scan did not reveal any underlying issues & I was eventually diagnosed with migraines. Despite trying over-the-counter products & also meds prescribed by my GP, the migraines persisted. I felt unwell most of the time, unable to function in everyday life & unable to work. Ann was recommended to me by a friend. Ann held an initial phone consultation to discuss my symptoms & subsequently arranged a series of regular acupuncture sessions followed by monthly maintenance sessions. I went to see Ann in July 2020 regarding my painful tennis elbow. Right from the beginning of meeting her and having my first session of acupuncture, the experience has been truly wonderful. I am no longer in pain after having 6 sessions and feel so much better. My GP initially diagnosed me with the condition and suggested a possible course of Cortisone injections, but even he wasn't convinced they would work, so I declined to take that further. I then saw Ann's website and was immediately impressed. She is very welcoming and makes you feel relaxed and calm. She has such a knowledge and understanding of your needs and is there to answer any questions. She also fitted appointments around me if I had to change them and this was great. I visited Ann as I had suffered with anxiety and stress for many years. The stress had caused jaw and face pain as I clenched my teeth while sleeping. Ann was quick to diagnose the problem and treated me successfully over my 6 visits. I feel so much better and my stress levels have dropped dramatically. After a car accident in 2019 from which I developed 2x bleeds on the brain and subsequent surgery to treat these. Post operation I began to suffer with headaches which ranged from 2/10 to 8/10. I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Headache Disorder. I have taken medication with limited success. Daily headaches impacted negatively on my home life and career. I heard about Ann through a friend of my wife and I thought what do I have to lose. An initial telephone consultation resulted in Ann advising on what she planned and what she thought the outcome would be. I stopped taking prescribed medication before starting my course of appointments with Ann (and I have not taken any more of the prescribed medication)
I have finished my course of 6 appointments today and can report that I started to have less headaches after 2 sessions (which is what Ann said would happen) and they have subsided to 1 or 2/10 and importantly I am now NOT getting daily headaches. I would like to thank Ann for her professional and personalised approach and the way she has educated me to better understand how acupuncture works.
I have booked monthly visits to keep up this treatment and I am looking forward to headache free days.
I can fully recommend Ann and her acupuncture treatment. I can't say it's a miracle cure, however, for me it has meant pain free days and improved mental well being. Once again Ann Thank you!!!

I cannot recommend Ann enough!! I’d heard about Ann through a few different people and how they had had amazing results on a variety of different things. I visited Ann about a re-occurring shoulder/back problem from years of repetitive strain that had been causing me quite a lot of pain. I’d been having physio and not seeing many results….although my physio told me it had taken years to get like this so was going to take a long time to fix. I had ONE SESSION with Ann and I have not suffered with any pain since!!! I swear she is a magician!! Ann made me feel so comfortable and welcome and also was so knowledgeable about so many things, I could have talked to her for hours. I have given her number to everyone and will 100% be back for any further treatments I need in the future!
