Anastasis is incredibly knowledgable about the breath. I’ve been teaching yoga for quite a few years and have learnt a lot from him as well as his book Breathing for Yoga. His knowledge goes well beyond wellness trends and deep into the physiology of breathing and how to optimise it for better mental and physical health. I would highly recommend!

Anastasis is one of the yoga teachers I have followed for over 10 years. He has a unique style of teaching which has challenged my perception of a yoga practice. He always inspires me to push myself beyond what I believe I can do on the mat but with the all-so -familiar steadiness and ease. I have practiced yoga for over 15 years , and yet he makes a Warrior 1 feel like a brand new experience. If you want to take your practice to a new level and learn a lot , his classes are invaluable! 🙏

I've been going to Anastasis' beginner group handstand classes for a few months now. He is super knowledgeable and experienced and his passion for his craft shines through! He is a patient and supportive coach and can quickly identify any weakness and provide personalised drills to address these. This specific feedback and programming is hugely beneficial for handstand training and I've seen plenty of improvement!

Love love this class. Anastasis is an amazing teacher. Unique workshop style class. I always leave having learnt something really practical to improve my yoga, and more broadly my health. Time is given to break down, explore and practice more complicated poses, and you are also encouraged to take ownership and chose what you want to practice. Really personable and fun, could not recommend this yoga class any more highly.

Anastasis is an excellent yoga teacher and inversion coach. I cannot recommend enough his group classes, workshops and private sessions.

I had been practicing yoga for over a decade on and off when I met Anastasis. I had even completed couple yoga teacher trainings and taught for a short while. However, my practice was terribly lacking of technic and strength. As a result my practice was not evolving. When I started to have private sessions with Anastasis, I wanted to improve my practice in general and especially my backbends and forearm stand. Anastasis has been teaching me for over a year forearm stand along with other things. His teaching via private sessions, workshops, group classes has provided me technic/method and very useful tips which have transformed my practice. Anastasis’ approach is holistic and pragmatic. His teaching of inversions includes technic, breathing, nutrition and mental training (focus, awareness).

While training with Anastasis I have:

- worked in developing my strength and this is now an on-going process in my practice;
- become more aware of my breathing and how to use it when inverting;
- learned to set goals in my practice and commit to it in order to evolve:
- changed my diet;
- managed to establish and commit to a daily home practice. This is something I have never managed to commit before meeting Anastasis;
- been learning on working on active flexibility and not only relying on passive flexibility;
- learnt to go back to foundation and making sure to nail the foundation first before inverting or practicing something advanced:
- been learning the hard way to train with quality and mental focus and not frantically. This has been a major turn in my practice . As a result my yoga practice and notably my forearm stand has fairly recently become more consistent instead of being just random.

I am now starting to work on handstand with Anastasis along with my forearm stand training using all I have learnt so far from his coaching in inverting.

Anastasis is such a great teacher. He gave a comprehensive introduction to me on reformer Pilates and he is very knowledgeable, attentive and tailored the whole course to my physical strength and my life style. Its very pleasant to talk to him as well. I won’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone who wants to try reformers.

I approached Anastasis as I needed to train for a new physical puppetry job and I wanted to learn more about fitness.

Anastasis tailored our sessions to work the relevant areas I would need, particularly focusing on how I could protect my lower back and grow core strength. He also taught me daily exercises I could do at home and in the gym to condition my body.

I had never even heard of the reformer machine before, but it is such an impressive piece of kit and can practically do anything! Anastasis was so knowledgeable and explained the reasons why we were doing something every step of the way. Having known very little about conditioning and strength building before, I feel like I have learnt so much in just three sessions.

A personal highlight was being able to contact Anastasis incredibly easily when I had questions about specific exercises, and he got back to me straight away.

I can't recommend him enough. Thank you!
