Els is friendly and calm in her approach. I had the Bowen treatment and after the Initial series I felt noticeably more upbeat in mood and posture, will book follow ups. Next is getting her to treat one of my dogs

Whilst out walking my incredibly boisterous 12 month old border collie he pulled so hard on the lead something happened in my shoulder region. I battled on for a while hoping the pain would eventually go but when it didn’t I searched for physios in Newent. I found Elly. I’d never heard of Bowen but gave it a go. Six treatments on and I am nearly pain free. But not only does that make me happy I absolutely love visiting Elly. She is a beautiful person and my body just loves her! ?

El did a treatment on me for my sciatica pain which has been a major issue for about 8 months. The treatment was really relaxing, El is very kind, calming and professional and I noticed a difference after as the pain subsided with just 1 treatment. Highly recommend this amazing woman

The difference in my dog after the Bowen treatments is remarkable, his symptoms improved and he was so much more comfortable. To watch him receive the treatment and to see him have an understanding of what is going on is really emotive. I highly recommend Elly and the Bowen Therapy, she truly has a special gift.

I have suffered with hip and lower back pain for a couple of years, having had various physiotherapy sessions and lots of painful deep tissue massage nothing seemed to make any significant change. I have had 2 Bowen sessions with Elly so far, as well as some scar tissue work and I can honestly say I have felt an immediate improvement in pain and mobility. Elly is very knowledgable, and calm and has explained a lot about what the causes could be, which has been really useful in making me more mindful about my body and movement. The Wellness Barn where Elly practises is a very calm, warm and welcoming place in the lovely market town of Newent. Bowen is such a relaxing, non invasive but immensely powerful treatment that I can’t recommend highly enough. I can’t wait for my next treatment.

Ellie has given my dog Jip three treatments, he was initially having mild seizures but she also found some muscular problems as well. All I can say is Jip is unbelievably excited when she arrives and to date he's been almost two weeks with no seizures, and as I know him so well I can see a massive change in his overall well-being. He's gone back to being a happy excitable and absolutely loving life, asking for the long routes on walks, playing in the garden and hurtling top speed round the house.
I myself had Bowen a few years ago and know how different I felt too!!
Ellie is so knowledgeable and lovely and quiet with Jip, never pushes him, letting him find his comfortable spot. I totally trust her judgement as he is the proof of her treatment. I would absolutely recommend Ellie if anyone is thinking of getting Bowen for their dog, the change in Jip has cemented the belief that natural is the way to go! Thank you Ellie for giving Jip is happy life back ?

I have visited Elly a few times now, and I really can't believe the difference she has made to my life. Elly has magic hands, I was suffering a lot, with different aches and pains, but since starting Bowen Therapy, I have gradually been getting better. Elly has become my miracle worker. I have been using Elly Adams canine Bowen service for a few years now for my dog Stash after she has had an operation or injured herself and needed additional help with her muscles and ligaments. My dog really respond well to the treatment and even showd the areas where she wants help with. Elly Adams is very informative and articulate during the sessions. Highly recommended.
