I found Irena through the Heaton Acupuncture Clinic, and it is no exaggeration to say Irena has changed my life.
I was suffering with debilitating migraines linked to my hormonal cycle, resulting in weeks in bed each month. After the first treatment, I did not have a migraine, and any further attacks have been vastly reduced so I can actually live my life.
Irena is charming and thoughtful, and actually listened to me and provided holistic advice. Years of back and forth to doctors and neurologists, and trials of medications that did nothing, I was so glad I gave it a go.
My appointments with Irena are now a highlight of my month, and I highly recommend anyone suffering or at a loss medically to reach out.

My first experience of acupuncture (recommended by another happy customer) and it was great! I really appreciate the care Irena takes to get a holistic picture of her clients' health/wellbeing. As well as the treatment, she gave personalised tips on helpful foods, physical habits and even book recommendations to support my journey outside the sessions too. It makes a big difference that Irena is so friendly and knowledgeable, she put me at ease straight away and I could immediately trust that I was in good hands. Highly recommended!

I sought out acupuncture with Irena due to a chronic muscle condition and pain associated with it. I've had the best possible experience. I leave Irena's treatment room feeling like a different person, pain-free and light in a way I haven't felt for several years. I recommend acupuncture with Irena without hesitation. Irena is a caring and dedicated therapist who carefully listens to your needs and responds to them effectively.
She is always working on her continuous professional development and often suggests new/different techniques.
She is very friendly and I love chatting with her; we have had many interesting discussions.
I originally made my first appointment when my baby girl was overdue to avoid an induction, and a few days later I was in labour.
I continued seeing Irena for post partum recovery and general wellbeing and always leave the sessions feeling very relaxed. I cannot recommend Irena's acupuncture services enough.

Having never tried acupuncture before, I can highly recommend this. Irena Lenc made me feel very comfortable, talked through what was going to happen and made me feel very at ease. I turned to accupuncture after struggling with chronic back pain, digestive, and respiratory problems for many years. Irena is exceptionally attentive in getting to the root of a problem and putting an effective treatment plan in place. Her knowledge and experience in Chinese medicine is obvious, allowing her to make sense of the complexity of the issues I have and explain them to me in simple terms. Irena genuinely cares about ensuring lasting, positive improvements in your health and wellbeing. I started to see improvements immediately after the first couple of sessions. After 3 months of treatment, issues that have bothered me for a long time have disappeared - I now have more energy, better sleep, and my chronic pain issues have been massively reduced.
