Awesome University. Very serene and peaceful place. The folks are exceptionally hospitable and friendly. One of the safest cities in the UK. Decent accommodations that are very affordable in comparison to other cities. Things are also relatively cheaper also. It is a country side, a sea town, with just a straight street that also doubles as the business/ market area. Don't so great when one is searching for a part time job. There are jobs, but not just within the cities. It is a great resort point. During the summer. Ah, I also forgot, the weather, it is the most unpredictable thing you are ever thing of. It might be smiling one minutes and the next it with be cries of rain. Cold, quite cold. Wonderful surroundings, great sets of Elizabethan buildings, some receiving renovations. If you want to enjoy a peaceful and serene country town, then Aber is you point of call.

The Arts Centre at Aberystwyth University is up and running again, as of June 2021.
There was a grand reopening on Monday 21st June 2021 when the newly refurbished reception and cafe area was made open to the public again.
The usual attractions of theatre, film and live music events have returned and information is available on the Aberystwyth Arts Centre website
There is a really good selection of films to see with the usual magnificent views over Aberystwyth from the cafe tables.
Well worth a visit again !

Awful experience, staff are no help. On my first day I couldn’t see anyone around to help me not even one lecturer. To make matters worse they had put me on the wrong course I was made to then pay for that course and continue it as it was “ too late into the studies” I have also been charged for multiple things I have not done such as resits as I was told I wouldn’t be able to do them then receive invoices to pay for them while being told I had. Still currently dealing with issues from this university even after I had left after the two most difficult and stressful years of education experience. I do not recommend this university you will lose your money and be blamed for the issues they have caused.

It has not been a pleasant experience. I had deposited my seat booking fee of GBP 5000, but couldn't get the CAS letter. After which, I requested for the refund through mails to the University,but they rarely respond my mails. It's been more than a month now, still not much update on my refund. I've tried every possible way to get my money back,but I'm left with this last choice i.e giving my review here. I shall update if the university responds and update me on my refund.

Update: I have been refunded the amount.

A lovely, memorable graduation day. Excellently organised by friendly, helpful staff. Well signposted, ample parking, and good facilities, which are clean and tidy.
