We had a lovely short stay at Ty'r Banc in Aberporth. It is a charming cottage and immaculately clean. We loved walking the Ceredigion coast from the door. We also really enjoyed sitting outside looking at the view in the changing light.
I would echo another review that one more comfortable chair in the living room would be an improvement but otherwise we were very happy and would like to return.

Kelly was so helpful throughout the booking process especially as I ended up extending our stay. She also left an Easter treat for our children which was a lovely touch. The cottage was easy to find and was immaculate. I think it’s one of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever stayed in. The cottage is in a really excellent location, and though steep, we enjoyed the walk to the beach. My husband walked to the waterfall and he found that a nice easy walk. I’ve given it four stars as there’s a couple of things that would’ve made our stay more comfortable - namely a 4th seat in the living room. The cottage is suitable for 4 people so, though it says it in the description, there really are only 3 seats in the living room and with two big boys we were on constant rotation on the floor. Lots of room for a 4th chair in there. Sadly we had to cut our trip short due to illness, and though I’m not sure the cottage totally worked for us, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

We stayed in the apartment for a week and it was perfect. Very compact and cosy and ideal for a couple. Immaculately clean, lovely furnishings and amazing views from every window. We had several days just relaxing in the apartment enjoying the scenery with a glass of wine. We look forward to returning x

We felt it was tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views from most of the property, close to beach although being Wales it is hilly but beautiful. Aberporth is a perfect destination and a great base for the west coast. We’d like to think we’d be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent break at Ty'r Banc. The cottage was immaculate throughout with the decor, design and furnishing contributing greatly to the comfortable ambience within.
We were celebrating a 71st birthday and despite the vagaries of the mid September weather we were able to enjoy the beauty of the Ceredigion coastline all day and everyday for the 5 day duration of our stay.
Communication was exemplary from our hosts, Kelly and Steve, and all correspondence conducted in a friendly and personable manner.
Highly recommended!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay at the coastal apartment. The apartment is perfect for two, nicely appointed, spotlessly clean, well-equipped, lovely views, very private and quiet. The owners are very friendly and service oriented. Aberporth beaches are fabulous and the surrounding area is stunning. Highly recommended.
