I had six sessions with Jason in 2020 and at that time was in a really bad head space. one of the things he pointed out to me early on was how much I'd already overcome before I'd got into the situation I was in at the time I saw him. I bring this to mind often, when I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed or lacking self confidence. Last week I had an interview for a promotion. Whilst I was unsuccessful by 1 point, the fact I even had the courage to apply is a massive thing for me. Whilst I realise how much that is down to me, that point that Jason made to me in 2020 has given me so much encouragement to just give things a try.

I was very nervous to start therapy, I wasn’t sure how a session would run or what to expect. For anyone feeling the same, don’t let that put you off.
From the outset, Jason explained his approach and set an open and safe environment for me to discuss anything that I needed to. I cried at times, struggled to explain how I was feeling and I felt lost but Jason helped me work through all of that, most importantly by reassuring me that it was OK to feel like I was and work out how I could see things more positively.
In our last session he said something that really resounded with my journey, most of the work is done outside of therapy with utilising what I had learnt, it’s so true. I’ve taken away ways to look at issues differently which is a huge learning point for me. I know that I have anxiety and it won’t go away, but I can manage it much better by having a different approach towards situations that arise.

I’ve had counselling a few times before. Never really worked till I met Jason. Jason was so good at helping me. And I’ve never felt as happy as do now.

I had reached a point where I knew that something was wrong and could feel I was in the thralls of a serious depression period. I had no idea what was wrong or why but Jason was friendly, understanding, incredibly patient and precise in helping realise the core issues, even when it feels like everything and every one is against you. I can't recommend his services more, I have never felt better about my mental health and future prospects and that is all thanks to Jason's support and guidance.

Just finishing therapy sessions threw a hard time this year I can confidently say counselling is helpful and advice anybody to open up the doors to talking to someone threw difficult times, especially Jason who I found welcoming, compassionate and understanding. Originally thinking it would be talking while someone writes on a bit of paper I couldn’t of been more wrong. Jason wanted to hear what was being talked about and has a passion on helping with mental struggles we all can have. Helping me to have a different perspective on situations and look at angles differently to deal with the struggles and situations couldn’t of helped me more threw the last 4 months. Thanks again Jason highly recommended

I was in a very bad place and finally decided to try counselling, although sceptical.
Jason just let me talk and cry and talk more and after the first 3 sessions I was feeling more positive. After the next few sessions I was able to look forward and stop beating myself up over the past.
I know from experience that this progress was only possible with the help and support of Jason.
I am happy to recommend Jason to anyone considering counselling.
