Maeve was recommended to me by a friend due to suffering from severe morning sickness. I had been prescribed medication but wanted to explore alternatives first.

Maeve went out of her way to ensure I was able to attend sessions with her due to my work patterns and was so welcoming.

Maeve has a calming personality and I felt at ease with her immediately - just a genuinely lovely human being. Through conversation you can hear how passionate she is as well as knowledgeable.

Maeve has an exceptional capacity, to provide a safe, nurturing space and the most gentle, needling technique I have ever experienced. I have experience some difficult needling from previous acupuncturist, which Maeve has helped me to overcome.

She takes great care in providing painless needling. She has exceptional communication skills and a warmth that cannot can be conveyed only experienced.
Her vast experience in acupuncture and it’s related therapies, enable her to provide treatment that makes me feel amazing.

Maeve has been a great support to me for several years now, first sorting my "Moaning Achilles" problem when all else had failed. Cannot put into words the incredible service Maeve provides. 10 out of 5 stars!
Her studio is a place of tranquility that allows you to relax, while Maeve works her healing hands on you.
First appointment I could hardly climb onto the table due to sciatic pain.
6 session on, what pain.

I was advised to try acupuncture for my chronic insomnia. I was a little sceptical but found Maeve on Google and booked an appointment for a couple of days later. All important Covid measures were in place and I was made to feel very welcome when I arrived for my first visit and we spent a really long time in conversation where Maeve asked me about my life, my family, my health etc. We also spoke about various tools for me to use to deal with my sleeping such as Mindfulness, meditation etc. We then moved on to the part where Maeve started to administer the actual acupuncture. This was my first time and l was quite nervous but didn't need to be. I barely knew she was inserting the needles and it was all very professional. The acupuncture and the other tools I learnt helped my insomnia almost from day one and I have slept SO much better since that day and on the very rare day that I can't sleep I remember what she taught me and sleep soon arrives.
On one of my visits I casually mentioned that I have had a bad back for a very long time and Maeve said she could also help me with this. She used massage and acupuncture and I have been pain free in my back since. She taught me some methods to use between appointments and I do these every day too.
I cannot recommend Maeve highly enough. A lovely person and extremely professional good at what she does. If anyone has similar problems to me then give her a call. You won't regret it.
