*HIGHLY RECOMMEND!* We have been working with Nicola’s health coaching + healthy habits programme in our workplace, SOUL Design, for the past few months. She has created a delicious 2week meal plan for us that we brought into our studio space + she has gently guided us all to bring healthier habits into our lifestyle - she encourages you to understand the WHY behind doing this with education, vision boarding + through her in-person workshops. Starting the Healthy Habits Journey was a challenge, but once I got going, the benefits of this life change became quite obvious.
I was struggling with motivation to get active and especially to stop using food as my coping mechanism. The first step was the hardest, but now I am happy to have embarked on this journey.
Having Nicola as my coach has made it easier to adhere to the changes I needed to make in my life. She understands and identifies with the struggles of a working mum and gave me lots of practical ideas for implementing these changes. As our sessions progressed, I felt that they were tailored to my needs and there was an opportunity to discuss them in depth. Nicola has also pointed me in the direction of some useful podcasts, books and recipes!!!
I am very happy with the return of planning our family meals and making sure I am not taking an easy way out (with ready cooked meals and take aways) regularly. I am extremely happy with the the "cooking from scratch" approach and I have discovered easy and practical meals for the whole family to enjoy. But the biggest achievement has been my return to being active. I am back at my ZUMBA classes, I am going for long walks (mixed with running moments), and I am going over a variety of other exercise classes using the Fitness Apple App. I feel more energised and willing to joing in family activities!

How do I describe a journey that has been so transformative. As I neared 40, stopped smoking and the way the world just exploded after covid with what can only be described as a complete "intense rush from morning to night" my control over my eating, my time, my weight and my excercise habits were simply next level nowhere. Nicola helped me regain control of the runaway horse that was my life, helped me prioritise many things but enabled me to give myself the "me time" I truly deserved. Like all learning areas, I was not successful 100% of the time, because, you know, LIFE! But the biggest change she helped me make was accepting that just because I didn't stick to the healthiest options everytime, that the wagon didnt have to fall away completely and that BALANCE is required in all areas.
Nicola came into my life at a time where I didnt realise how much I needed her. Physically, I feel stronger, healthier, and more energized. Mentally, I am more focused, confident, and resilient.
