I first reached out to Philippa back in August 2019 after quite a difficult period in my life. I was suffering with severe depression, anxiety and perfectionism which was having a huge impact on my life. After an initial telephone conversation we agreed that therapy would be a good starting point to getting my life back on track. After the first appointment my mind was immediately put at rest as I knew I was in safe hands and felt a weight off my mind having discussed everything that was troubling me. Over the coming weeks we worked on all aspects of my life but focused most of the time on the one thing that was holding me back the most; my perfectionism. Philippa provided me with emotional and professional support, along with a number of self-help resources to take home with me and work on. At the time of my initial consultation I had been out of work for several months due to redundancy and the problems I had prevented me from acquiring a full time job. Since completing therapy I have had several job offers and have finally managed to find work with a company who I absolutely adore. My anxiety and depression are almost non-existent and I am now equipped with the right tools to deal with my perfectionism. If you're struggling with any aspect of life I urge you to reach out to Philippa to see if she can help you as much as she has helped me.
