Have been getting my haircut at Leighton's for nearly 3 years now. Always look forward to the banter and I'm always happy with the cut, from all three of the girls .

Just had my hair permed I asked for 60s mullet perm and I will say I'm delighted I can wash and leave or use hot brush for softer look great

Well worth the journey from Bristol! (came up to visit my mum!).
The ladies were very welcoming & friendly.

It's not often I get a bad hair cut but in this case I did, staying in Sedbergh in a holiday rental on sick leave decided to treat myself to a trim at the local hairdresser, seemed alright as I googled reviews first.
The lady I booked my appointment sounded pleasant and actually fitted me in of which I was very grateful for as I was feeling a little low, as I wear glasses I said I would remove them so I couldn't actually see what she was doing I mentioned this to the lady cutting it and she said, what I thought what was a joke said 'just as well' she seemed to be very efficient as she managed to complete a wet cut within 20 minutes.. did cross my mind that she managed to finish so quickly but thought she must be good at it.. So when I left I saw the carnage she had left with my hair... all variety of lengths, had I had the energy to complain I should have, even four months later you can still see the uneven layers which will take an age to grow out... Not recommended..

Have been using Leightons since moving to Sedbergh 2 years ago. My hair is not the easiest to cut but I have never had a bad cut & infact I have to say it's by far the best I have ever had. The staff are all friendly & helpful in every way they go the extra mile to fit you in as I can be a nightmare due to work commitments & they often fit me in at short notice.
Would recommend to anyone who asks cannot fault them .

This is a lovely, friendly salon all the ladies are very welcoming they always give good advice on styling cuts and colour. I have been coming here for a number of years and would not go anywhere else. I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants good professional styling in a relaxing comfortable envioroment.

Got my prom hair done here and it was absolutely amazing!! Stayed in for the whole night as well as the next day and night at another party. Definitely my go to if I need my hair doing.
