I went to Amy for a pregnancy massage and I'm so pleased I did! I had a blended treatment of acupuncture and massage to help with circulation and pain in my right side. I first contacted Amy back in October for some advice as I had hit a wall with chronic gallbladder symptoms and pain. I had been told I have a gallbladder which contracts excessively and other than being offered amitriptyline (which I wouldn't take) there were no other options. I did some research and read that acupuncture may be beneficial. Amethyst acupuncture was then highly recommended by various friends and colleagues.
I can honestly say that my quality of life has changed significantly since beginning acupuncture here. I have had 5 sessions to date and the pain hasn't returned. Prior to this it would occur once or twice a week, occasionally more. As well as focusing on my gallbladder, Amy has been really supportive in assessing other concerns I have had including concentration levels and anxiety. Each time I have been I have felt heard and it has made such a difference to my energy and feel it has had a complete holistic impact on my quality of life. I wouldn't be without acupuncture now. I would highly recommend Amy to everyone. She is so friendly and easy to talk to - everything she does, she does properly and with care.
Her massages are amazing and always leave me refreshed whilst looking forward to the next one. I particularly love the Indian head massages too. Amy is also great at waxing - half the time I forget I’m getting waxed as she’s so lovely to talk to!
