This is a review of my experience so far with Wellspring.

Leading up to my first session, I initially just walked through the door to get some information and was instantly greeted by a lovely calm atmosphere. The receptionist (sorry I don't know your name yet) was brilliant, plenty of information, understanding and very helpful.

Contact before my first session by telephone, again was brilliant and very helpful. I can say that it was above and beyond what I would have hoped for (thank you so much).

My first session, was with Tim who immediately put me at ease, explained everything very well, treated and talked to me like I was a normal person, I say normal because anybody using this service obviously has some issues or they wouldn't be there, also baring in mind they do not know who or what they are dealing with. So again thank you Tim.

Nobody has a magic wand to make everything OK, and you only get out of it what you put in, and baring in mind the amount of people they must see from week to week that have different needs they do a brilliant job.

Final thoughts, an excellent service from very nice and professional people. I am looking forward (as much as anyone can in the circumstances) to my next session.

Counsellor spent more time fixating on my drinking/lifestyle habits, rather than discussing the problems I was in counselling for. She spent so much of the weekly session lecturing me about that, it left little time to discuss more relevant issues. Almost 6 weeks in, I felt no progress was being made. If i want to be lectured about my lifestyle, I can speak to my GP for free. Out of control kids screaming/running/crashing toys around the waiting room every week, causing stress before I even got into my session. Absolutely wasted my time and money.

Hazel was soo patronising. She told me that she wouldn't be there the following week, as she'd be in Cornwall.. I wished her the best... She replied .... "I genuinely believe that you meant that" .. Horrible experience... I recommend mind for counceling.
