Absolutely terrible service from the managers and weekday staff.

I've spoken to survivors for the past couple of years now. To start with, it was a brilliant service, however, staff started to leave, they got the crisis line, then they lost the crisis line and reopened their own numbers.
They brought in a 15 minute call rule, which wasn't very helpful when I was in distress, but I dealt with it. They then decided that wasn't enough and they needed to bring in a 1 call a day rule... EXCUSE ME?

Kelly, a member of the day staff, used to be very good at her job, however recently this has changed, you're lucky to get 7 minutes in the phone to her, never mind 10, then the call will cut off, while you're in distress, you try to call back and she'll tell you that you have to call back in the evening as you've had your "1 call".

Kelly and I were speaking the other day and she asked me what she'd done to upset me, so I told her, she flies straight on the defence and tells me how my feelings are wrong and invalid... what a great support worker.

Her incompetent manager Lindsay then decided to put me on a 24hr ban for being "abusive" when I wasn't. This is the same manager who has told me, MULTIPLE times, about how they have no funding or staff as if that's anything to do with me?! Telling me I should understand how it works because it's a"non-profit" ... why should I know? I've never worked for a charity.

Fast forward to today, survivors along with other authorities have had a meeting regarding me, without telling me anything about it, and survivors awful CEO, who can I say discriminates against people, has decided to put me on a 7 day ban from the service.

Nobody has bothered to actually speak to me about this or ask my side of the story, nobody cares, they don't care. Do not be fooled. This service, as it has done to me, will pretend to support you, then leave you dry when you need it most.

So, a little message to Lindsay, Andrea and all the other incompetent staff (good staff, you know who you are), watch this space.

This service has helped me immensely. All the staff have been amazingly supportive. Like any service, certain info is needed to be kept on file just incase something happens so there is an understanding on how to help us. No info is used personally by anyone.

If you have complex problems such as BPD, PTSD or a personality disorder. This place is not for you. They aim to help and to support you and they ease you into letting your walls down. To then "counsel" you by telling you its all your fault that you've been traumatised and suffered. They take the victims of trauma and abuse and label you as causing your own problems. Do yourself a favour and go to real qualified counsellors through the NHS who know how to speak to people and treat specific issues. Not people who gaslight the victims and tell you they are helping by telling you it's all your fault. - A 27 year old BPD sufferer who is awaiting REAL therapy!

A staff member there called lindsey is the only problem she wants to know all your personal details and about your personal life, asking me questions that made me feel really uncomfortable, shes very creepy and a bully, she banned me just because I refused to tell her where I live.

On their site, it says you can text them, and they will text you back. It has different numbers for different hours. I texted 1 and a half hours before they shut, no reply. So I tried again later, 5 hours before they shut, no reply.

Can't say for certain, but doubt they are independent or non profit. Neo-Kraepelinian trojan horses after nodding dogs and funding, most likely
