I saw Jessica for several years across a multitude of personal issues and traumas. Her consistent empathy matched with an astute wisdom and professionalism supported me through various hardships. Until one day we both came to the realisation that I no longer needed her. A place everyone in therapy strives for. It was both a joyous and sad day. Joyous because I had become a whole self again and sad because my time with her had come to an end. I still think of her often and hold much gratitude towards her presence in my life. She was and is still blessing.

With Jess’s help I have been able to finally understand the patterns and causes for my years of repetitive cycles of depression and anxiety. When I first made contact I was feeling very stuck, where other support and treatment had helped but only to a certain extent, and only masking deeper issues. The commitment to regular and consistent sessions with Jess provided the foundations I needed to build a new routine of self care, and develop a new understanding of self respect. Ultimately I have been able to move on from the feelings of shame and fear I had towards myself, after understanding where it all came from in the first place, I learnt what I needed to do for ME. I am so grateful to have experienced this process with Jess, who provided such an honest and consistent space combined with incredible knowledge that I have continued to draw on. It was transformative for me, and the effects have been profound not only just for myself but my whole family. I understand now what it means to put the regular daily work in and how to love and take care of myself.
